Skin Care at Civano offers relaxing facials and peels, in addition to waxing services. We often hear from clients that they are so busy, they don’t have time to take care of themselves the way they would like. We listened and have created a whole new menu that provides far greater flexibility. Sophisticated men and women around the world know that taking care of their skin is just as important as providing nourishing food for their bodies. Our new menu reflects some different styles around the world.

Treatment Options
Select one of the following treatments to be used with any of the menu items.

Moisturizing:  This could be blueberries, peaches or even chocolate for dry or mature skin.

Sensitive or Rosacea skin types: A gentle facial featuring products specifically designed to alleviate irritation and redness.

Oily or acne prone skin: A deeply cleansing facial utilizing bacteria fighting products to help fight blemishes.

Normal skin types: An anti-oxidant facial to help prevent free radical damage utilizing any of a number of healing botanicals.

Anti-aging facial: Luscious strawberries and rhubarb with natural Hyaluronic acid to quench and replenish the skin.

Detox facial: This is perfect for oily or mature skin. This three level exfoliant treatment increases metabolism and detoxifies the skin. *Not available with the New Yorker.*

THE NEW YORKER...............................................................................$30

The New Yorker: Get in, get out, and get on with your life! A thirty minute facial including cleansing, exfoliation, extractions if needed, mask, toner and moisturizer.                                     

THE BRITISH.........................................................................................$50

Efficient, a little pampering but nothing excessive and must be good value! This treatment will be the “Flavor of the month” and will promote one of our many different options. This fifty minute treatment will always include cleansing, exfoliation, extractions if needed, brief facial massage, mask, toner, moisturizer and an application of lotion to arms and hands. THE PARISIAN.......................................................................................$60

This one hour facial provides a bit more pampering because he or she deserves it! After a thorough cleansing and extractions if needed, an exfoliating mask is applied followed by a relaxing facial massage to help stimulate circulation. A brief hand and arm massage is followed by a "leave-on" therapeutic mask specific to your skin type. Once the mask is removed, a toner is applied and an application of beneficial serum (like vitamins for your skin) followed by a moisturizer, both very specific to your skin type. Lastly an application of eye cream to nourish and lubricate the thin and vulnerable skin around the eye.                        

THE CALIFORNIAN..............................................................................$70 

More laid back and even more pampering. This one hour and ten minute treatment begins with a thorough cleansing, with extractions if needed. An exfoliating mask is applied, and is followed by a facial and shoulder massage that will stimulate the circulation and relax tense muscles. In addition an exfoliating mask is applied to your lips, to eradicate dry skin and flakiness, followed by a thorough massage of the hands and arms. A therapeutic "leave-on" mask specific to your skin type is applied to nourish your face, neck and decollete. Also a moisturizing and plumping mask for your lips is added. After removal of these masks, a toner is applied to return the skin to the correct pH balance, and one of our specific serums is applied to supply additional nutrients. We finish with a moisturizer; an application of eye cream to help prevent crows feet and protect the vulnerable eye area; and finally a nourishing lip balm. This relaxing treatment will leave your skin glowing and leave you feeling completely renewed.

THE MEDITERRANEAN......................................................................$90

The ultimate in spa experience. This luxurious one and a half hour treatment is for the person who wants to be totally pampered from head to toe. Your spa treatment begins with a thorough cleansing, and extractions if needed. An exhilarating exfoliating mask will remove dead cells and increase cellular turnover. In the meantime, another exfoliating mask for the eyes and also one for the lips is applied. A rejuvenating massage of the face and shoulders stimulates blood circulation to provide nourishment to the skin, and helps relax tight muscles. A further massage of the hands and arms will relax you even more. A therapeutic mask is applied to your face and decollete; another for the eyes, and a moisturizing one for the lips. As these three masks penetrate your skin, you will be treated to an extensive foot scrub and massage of the feet and ankles. After we remove the masks, toner is applied to return the skin to the correct pH balance, and then an application of a serum designed to provide deep nourishment for your particular skin type. This is followed by a moisturizer, and another for the area around the eyes, and a special plumping moisturizer for the lips. This treatment is like a mini-vacation, and the most wonderful gift you can give yourself. It will not only enhance the appearance of your skin, but will give you a glow from within. A truly healing experience for your mind and body.   

LED THERAPY: ......................................................................................$45

LED (Light Emitting Diode) Therapy is a safe, effective use of advanced light technology designed to help diminish the visible appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots on the face, neck and hands by promoting collagen firmness. The LED Therapy uses photo pulsation technology allowing people to have a painless, effective and safe, non-invasive cosmetic skin care application in the comfort and convenience of a salon. We use Revitalight, the leader in Intense LED light technology, the only LED light that uses patented Intense LED focused light and patented multiple frequencies for proven results.

A typical LED facial consists of a thorough cleansing, extractions if needed, combined with exfoliation followed by 15 minutes of relaxing LED therapy. A toner and moisturizer suitable to your skin type completes the 30 minute treatment. Additional LED Therapy may be purchased at $3 per minute.

LED ACNE THERAPY: .......................................................Starting at $15

Acne is treated with a different blue light and is also $3 per minute with the average treatment being 20 minutes. Treatments are every two to three days and the number of treatments varies, depending on how long it takes for the problem to clear up.
Please allow 30 minutes for either treatment.

ANTI-AGING-FACIAL WITH LED:......................................................$90

This treatment begins with a thorough cleansing, exfoliation and extractions if needed, to remove dead cells and prepare the skin for treatment. This is followed by Green Tea and Guava serum to maximize the results of the therapy.  LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy follows which is relaxing and painless, as it stimulates the cells to create more collagen. A relaxing massage of face, arms and shoulders is followed by an organic mask which is customized to your skin needs. While this aromatic treatment infuses into your skin,  you will float away to soothing music and aroma therapy. Lastly a toner and moisturizer customized to your skin completes this luxurious treatment.

BACK TREATMENT..............................................................................$45

A back treatment is a cleansing and exfoliation of the back, extractions if needed, followed by a deep relaxing massage.

                                  

TROPICAL ESCAPE...............................................................................$60

This treatment combines all the luxuries of one of our facials, with the efficiency of a non-chemical peel.  A delicious moisturizing coconut cleanser whisks you away to a tropical beach as it removes the cares and grime of the day. As the palm trees sway, a gentle Pineapple Enzyme peel exfoliates and moisturizes the skin while unclogging pores. A rich healing mask of Hibiscus and Calendula soothes irritated or dry skin, followed by your favorite toner and moisturizer. A delight for the senses and a treat for your skin.

YAM AND PUMPKIN PRO ENZYME NON-CHEMICAL PEEL......$60

This peel stimulates collagen production, helps to reduce fine lines, deeply hydrates the skin and has antioxidant and anti-aging benefits.

BLUEBERRY DETOX FIRMING PEEL..............................................$70

This treatment is good for all skin types especially dry, mature,  thick and sun damaged. Not for sensitive or rosacea skin types. This is the strongest enzyme peel that Eminence has produced. This treatment detoxifies, refines and clarifies the skin, minimizes and clears clogged pores, removes dead skin and allows greater penetration of other products. After the peel, a nourishing mask of Hibiscus Calendula is applied. This treatment is especially good for sun damaged skin. The skin is then toned and an appropriate moisturizer applied. The treatment is finished with an application of eye cream and lip balm.      

 

FULL BODY TREATMENT………………….......…............................$90

This luxurious treatment starts with a Pear and Green Apple body sugar scrub to exfoliate and increase circulation along with extractions if needed. This is followed by a relaxing soak in a warm tub scented with lavender and roses. Wrapped in a huge bath sheet, you will return to a warm bed where a luxurious body cream of with Pear and Green Apple soufflé will be applied head to toe. This treatment benefits the skin by providing nutrients, eliminating dead skin and leaving the skin silky smooth. The benefits to ones well being are too numerous to mention.

Start your teen off right, with a facial that provides thorough cleansing, a pineapple peel, extractions if needed, and a grapefruit clarifying mask. Your teen will also be provided with written instructions for home care to keep their skin clean and breakouts to a minimum.

Free of harmful chemicals, the luxurious colors and textures will thrill you, but what are the best ones for you?
